13 Lewisville Fire Fighters Become New Divers
Lewisville Local 3606 would like to congratulate our 13 members who recently completed dive rescue school. They completed a rigorous certification program, that is run in-house by the LFD. It is run by several of our members who are highly trained dive instructors. Because of our community’s continuing support, we are able to have a highly trained dive team. Lewisville Fire Fighters Have a Busy Night On Lake Lewisville
On August 16th members from Lewisville Local 3606 and the Lewisville Fire Department had a busy night on Lake Lewisville. Your fire fighters answered several calls for help, traveled approximately 24 total miles on the lake, and spent 3 hours and 20 minutes on the water. Battling large waves, both mechanical and equipment failure, your fire fighters never gave up and heroically battled harsh conditions to save multiple lives on the water. Our Brother Is Home
Lewisville Local 3606 is happy to report our brother has been discharged from the hospital and is now home.  Though he still Is on the road to recovery, he will thankfully being doing that from home. Lewisville Local 3606 Member Hospitalized Due To COVID-19
A member of Lewisville Local 3606 is currently hospitalized due to respiratory complications from COVID-19.  Our member is currently receiving an experimental medication that has been approved for emergency use, and has received a plasma transfusion.  The experimental medication requires him to remain in the hospital for five days, so please keep him and his young family in your prayers. We are closely monitoring his condition and will provide updates as information becomes available...
